This recording mode is best for transcription and allows to back up and correct an audio message while recording. When recording is paused click the Play button or click the progress bar at the desired position to review the message. Recording will continue at the position where playback was paused and record over the rest of the message.
Currently this recording mode does not support adding sound effects and does not support dubbing. It is not available in all versions of Speak-A-Message.
This recording mode allows adding sound effects into your audio message, for example clapping hands, fireworks or the sound of a champagne cork popping. It also allows dubbing - i.e. playing a melody in the background while recording.
Use this recording mode if you want to record a long message, for example a lecture. The message is compressed on the fly. This requires the least disk space while recording (once recording is finished all recording modes produce small, compressed files).
If you want to convert the message to text after recording, the best mode would still be With review and record-over because compressed audio files reduce transcription accuracy (and compressed files need to be decompressed during transcription anyway).
